MRS ROSE W. SWANSON PASSES TO REST

End Came Tuesday -- Funeral Friday Afternoon at 2 o'clock From the House.

The death of Mrs. Rose W. Swanson occurred at about 12:45 Tuesday afternoon at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Louis James, on Liberty street. She had been a shut-in practically all the time
for twelve years, only occasionally being able to walk or ride out. Since January she had
gradually failed. However, she kept up each day until Sunday.

Rose Wilson was born in West Monroe March 24, 1859. Her parents were Francis and Emily Reynolds
Wilson. Deceased was reared in her native town and there on Mar. 1st, forty-four years ago, she
was married to George Swanson of Camden. Since then nearly all of her life has been spent in this
town.

Mrs. Swanson was a highly esteemed woman and had a host of friends whose deepest sympathy has been
with her during her long years of illness, and with her only daughter whose loving and devoted
care had been a source of great comfort to her. Besides the daughter Mrs. Swanson leaves a
sister, Mrs. Wm. DeGarmo of Ilion and a brother, Geo. E. Wilson of Mexico, N.Y.

The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the James home on Liberty street, Rev. Cecil
Taylor of Trinity Episcopal church, officiating. Interment will be made in Forest Park cemetery.
