With the Rev. F. Ernest Miller, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, waiting in the parlor and
Miss Eleanor I. Crenan, school friend of the bride at the piano, the bridal party entered as
follows: Lynn Richard Taylor brother of the bride, acting as best man followed by the groom,
the bride, attired in white crepe dechine and carrying a shower bouquet of bridal roses, the
bridesmaid, Nellie Mae, sister of the groom, wearing blue satin crepe and carrying pink and
white carnations, the flower girl , Laura Edith McLaughlin, wearing white batiste, carrying a
beautiful basket of pink and white asters, the ring bearer, little Agnes Pearl McLaughlin,
wearing yellow organdie, carrying the ring, nested in a flower trimmed basket.
The Rev. Mr. Miller performed the ceremony, using the ring service.
After congratulations dainty refreshments were served by two aunts of the bride, Mrs. James
O'Brien and Mrs. Henry Wakefield.
The bridal couple left in a shower of rice and a well decorated car, followed by the best wishes
of many friends.
The bride is a recent graduate of the Camden High School and a regular attendant of the
Presbyterian Church and Sunday School; also a member of the Westminister Guild chapter. The
groom is an attendant of the M.E. Church of Westdale.
The many beautiful gifts attest the high esteem in which the young couple are held.
Wednesday of last week a surprise and variety shower, given by members of the Guild, was
enjoyed at the bride's aunt, Mrs. James O'Brien, many beautiful gifts being received by the
bride.
After a trip to Watkin's Glen and Niagra Falls they will be at home to their friends in Westdale
after October 20th. The bride's going away dress was cinnamon brown with hat to match.
Friends present from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wakefield and family of Rome.
