Richmond Lambie. For many years he was identified with the business life of the village, in
conducting a meat market. First, associated with his late brother James Lambie, under the firm
name of Lambie Brothers and later as sole proprietor. Mr. Lambie was known as an excellent
judge of meats and for his expert ability as meat cutter. Leaving the market trade he became a
traveling salesman for a farm machinery company, until his retirement 12 to 15 years ago.
October 29, 1890 he married Miss Agnes Huyck of this village, the ceremony being performed by
the Rev. Mr. Benaugh, who was then pastor of the Presbyterian church of Camden. Mrs. Lambie
passed away July 24, 1932. Their wedded life had been a very devoted, happy one and her death
was a blow from which he never recovered.

a kind and loving memory of him.
