Helpthekids.net was contacted last week by a grandmother who is desperately looking for her 2 yr. old grand daughter Shannon who was abducted along with her mommy. The Mothers body was found in the bottom of a river in their home town and the abductor is now in prison on non related charges but the problem is that there is still no sign of the baby. No missing children's agencies will help this grandmother because she is not the legal guardian of the child. The grandmother has been in front of several different judges who have told her that unless she has possession of the child she cannot get custody or guardianship The babies father is also not in the picture as he is also currently incarcerated on unrelated charges.
