Baby Page!!

Marcie has been having more
(and stronger) contractions since the Nov 11th, now we're just waiting
on Baby !!!
On the Nov 11th, Marcie's
co-workers gave her another shower where we got many nice things.
On Nov 10, We went to Doctor
Spurlin's office for a regular checkup, and she said Marcie was dialted
2-3 cm, and told her to go home and rest!!
On the Nov 8th, we finally
broke down and got a stroller/car carrier thing. This was
our present from Joan, but we picked it out.
We went to the last ultrasound
on Oct 29, Marcie's boss Kaye went with us. Here are the two pictures
we got:
We've gone to our last Lamaze
class on Oct 20, very interesting for sure!!!
We had
a family-given baby shower on Oct 17, got lots of nice stuff, including
13 crib blankets, six of which were hand-made!!
On Oct 16th, I took the day
off and finished the Baby's room (at least the painting portion!),
as soon as we get some pictures of it, I'll put one up.
In Late September, I took
some photos when Marcie went to the Doctors office for a checkup,
here they are:
Well, we've had our first trip
to the Hospital: On Oct 12, Marcie was feeling very bad, was
having some "contraction-like" symptoms, so we went to the Hospital for
some monitoring. Everything was alright, and we went home after about
3 hours.
On October 10, we FINALLY
got started on the Baby's room. Here's some advice - don't wait until
late to do the work . . .
On September 15, we
went to our first Lamaze class. It was kinda strange, somewhat interesting,
and definetly odd!
Well, we were sitting
at the house on July 11, and we saw something totally amazing: We saw the
Baby kick (Marcie's belly looked funny like that!!!) I felt the
Baby move, and we could even feel the Baby's head. . . OK, that was kinda
weird, but neat none the less! Neat, Huh??
On July 14, we went to another
standard Doctor visit, and we got to hear the Baby's heartbeat again.
That is really neat!!
On July 7, we went for the
real Ultrasound, and here's the picture:

Well, we went to a friends'
wedding, and here's a picture of Marcie and our friend Tammi before she
had Rachael:
On May 11th, we went
to Marcie's next Doctor visit, and we got to hear the Baby's heartbeat
!!! It was a very strange sensation to stand there listening to our child
and not be able to see it or touch it, very strange indeed. A lady at our
church gave Marcie her first maternity clothes Sunday, and Marcie was excited.
Marcie's boss gave her an old stethescope, and we've been trying to hear the heartbeat on our own, but evidently we aren't doing something right! If you have any suggestions, please email us!
Well, on April 9, we
had a "quickie" ultrasound, and here's the pictures:
You can't see it in this photo, but it's little heart is "just a gittin' it!!".
We've been to our first
Doctor visit, but we did not get to hear the Baby's heartbeat nor did Marcie
have an ultrasound. Hopefully, we will get both during the next visit.
Our friends Jessica and Kenny
in Georgia are also going to have a Baby, and Jessica and Marcie are both
due at the same time, within a week of each other!! We are VERY excited
for them and wish them well.
The last time I talked with her she was doing fine. She has also had an ultrasound and got to hear the Baby's heartbeat, she was very excited about that!
Jessica said she has begun to feel the Baby kick, and they seem to be excited about it as much as we are!
Jessica emailed me the other day, she said, "We're still waiting, even though the drs. keep saying anyday now. Kenny says we are "in a holding pattern, circling the runway waiting for clearance to land".". We wish them good luck. What would the chances be that both babies are born on the same day?!?!
Another friend, Tammi
and Scott Hudson, are also expecting, and Tammi is due in late June.
She is going to have a little girl, and we all hope that she looks like
Tammi (sorry Scott!).
Tammi is doing fine, and the last time I saw her she looks like she has a volleyball stuck under her shirt!!
I talked to Tammi on July 6th, and she said they were all doing just fine. We sure are happy to see her and talk to her, and we can't wait to see the new Baby!
On July 7, me & Marcie visited Tammi, Scott, and Rachael. She's so little and cute (Rachael, I mean), and Tammi and Scott were both very proud of her. She has black hair like her mommy. We wish them all the best!
One day, Tammi, Scott, and Rachael stopped by for a visit. Rachael is six weeks old in these two photos:
