Deck the Halls
On the first day of Halloween            Deck the halls with poison ivy,

A hoot owl in a dead tree. Tis the season to be slimy,

Two trick or treaters, Don we now our strange apparel,

Four skeletons, Troll the ancient Halloween carol,
Five Snicker bars, Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Six goblins gobbling,
Seven pumpkins glowing, See the goblins rise before us,
Eight monsters shrieking, Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Nine ghosts a boo-ing, As we sing the Halloween chorus,
Ten ghouls a-groaning, Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Eleven masks a-leering, Follow them as they ascend,
Twelve bats a-flying, Fa la la, la la la, la la la.
Join with all your loony friends,
Trick or Treat ("Jingle Bells")          Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Dashing through the streets,
Meeting goblins as we go, Shivery Yells ("Silver Bells)
Wearing contour sheets, We're on sidewalks, we're on porches,
Wishing it would snow. Dressed in costumes to scare.
Through the city we're ringing the doorbells.
Bells in doorways ring, Trick or treating, candy eating,
Making spirits bright, Gooey stuff in our hair,
What fun it is to come and sing But the most fun is shrieking out loud,
And get some food tonight. "Shivery yells! Shivery yells!"
That's the Halloween nitty-gritty.
Trick or treat, trick or treat, Moan and groan, leave us alone.
Trick or treat we say! Halloween's just once a year.
Try to get the treats before
The ghosts scare us away! Spooky Night ("Silent Night")

If you don't have treats for us Round yon pumpkin glowing away.

The parents did scream God Rest Ye Merry Spirits
At the children in costumes God rest ye merry spirits,
Who stole all their treats. Let nothing you dismay.
Witches stirring bubbling cauldrons,
"Go away, go away!" Smelling of decay.
The spirits did say. To save you all from Satan's Po'ers
"You're taking our business, Before your hair turns gray.
So come back in May!" Oh, tiding of horror and fright,

We three ghosts of Halloween are
Scaring kids who wander too far. Spirit Wonderland
Trick or treating, candy eating. Screech owls hoot, are you listening?
Watching the Halloween star. 'Neath the moon, all is glistening,
A real scary sight, we're happy tonight.
Oh...oh... Waitin' in a spirit wonderland.
Star of darkness, star of fright. In the streets we're begging for some candy.
Star of every gruesome sight. We've been waiting for this night all year.
West winds howling, cat's a -yowling, We've tried to embarrass everybody,
Let us play some tricks tonight! And to make a costume filling you with fear.
O Skeletons! Later on, while we're eating

Rattle down my hallway! We'll share all our sacks
O skeletons, O skeletons! Of Halloween snacks,
Rattle in my attic. Waitin' in a spirit wonderland.
Let them know, the day is here, Joy to the World
When your spirit will appear. Joy to the world, it's Halloween.
O skeletons, O skeletons! The night of fright has come!
Rattle through your graveyard. This time of year we wait.

Humphrey the Blue Nosed Pumpkin The Great Pumpkin will come.

Had a very obvious nose. The Great ,the GREAT Pumpkin will come.
And if you ever saw it,
You might even say it shows. He rules the world,
All of the other pumpkins, On Hallow's Eve.
Used to laugh and call him names. He's coming here tonight.
They never let poor Humphrey Let's go into the pumpkin patch
Play in any pumpkin games. They'll put us in the booby hatch,
But we will have such fun,
Then one foggy Halloween Eve, But we will have such fun,
The Great Pumpkin did say, But we , but we will have such fun!
"Humphrey, with your nose so blue,
You'll make all the ghosts say BOO!" I'm Dreaming of the Great Pumpkin
I'm dreaming of the great pumpkin
Then all the pumpkins loved him, Just like I do this time each year
And they shouted out with glee When she brings nice toys
Humphrey, the blue nosed pumpkin To good girls and boys
You'll go down in history! Who wait for her to appear
I'm dreaming of the great pumpkin
With ev'ry pumpkin card I write
May your jack-o-lantern burn bright
When the Great Pumpkin visits you tonight.
