Thanks for stopping in. My favorite past time is to build model aircraft. I like to model them after full-size planes. Scratch building is really fun and rewarding. To start out though, you need some basic skills and concepts. Safety is the most important thing. Fun is well, the result of all the hard work.
First of all, you need insurance and a set of rules to fly by.
This way everyone can have a good time, and do it safely. The best place to start is:

If you are new to the hobby, it is a good idea to join a club. Clubs have
a lot of advantages. For one, they have flight instructors. So you as a
new pilot, can learn how to taxi, fly and land. They also hold contests
and fun flies. Trophies are often awarded to those who compete and helpful
hints and tips are shared by all. They generally have a meeting once a
month. To organize new contests and promote their hobby in shows at malls
or other functions. Of course, flying is the best part.
