While I enjoyed the reunion this past July 7th, I don't believe there would
have been anyone attending that wouldn't agree that the weather was
oppressive to say the least.  At our age and stage in life, I don't think we
need to be driven by summer vacations any longer and I would suggest that we
look to see about a fall time slot.  Perhaps in September when the plant is
open and the temperature is a bit cooler.  It's was wonderful to see many
upper-upper classmen but I also feel that a smaller group would have been
more cohesive.  I do appreciate the classes of the 50's inviting us to join
them however.  Not enough praise can be  given to all of the committee who
did a fantastic job in pulling the event off.  Thanks to all of you.  And,
John & Nancy Grettenberg for hosting a fun Friday evening.  What a marvelous
job you did!!!!!!  Thanks again to all who contributed.

I thought the reunion was pretty good in lots of ways,  1950-1965, but
too many people were at the legion hall and everyone had to yell to talk
to the person next to them.  And with 15 classes together, it took time,
focus and energy to try and get class pictures and scattered any whole
group energy.  But, there were lots of smaller group activities  around
the weekend and many good connections among folk were made.  Personally,
Iwould not vote for 15 years to be all together again, at least for the
banquet.

Meanwhile, I did meet Ruth Jensen there, and Roland had his special this
Saturday at the Drive Inn Cafe.

Saw Nancy's brother Alan at the reunion. You guys should have shown up.
Lots of old people there including me.  Gray hairs, no hairs, fat, thin,
wrinkled, etc. but all having a good time.

I would like you to change my e-mail address from rpsmith@uswest.net to
rxsmit6@qwest.com

Thanks,

I helped at the Legion last Saturday night at th 50's and part of 60's reunion. I think it was a great idea. I had alot of fun. Seeing everyone, from old neighbors ,friends, and older class mate. That I wouldn't been  able to see, unless I went. I think everyone should do this again. Because most of our classes wasn't very big to begin with. Of coarse as we get older we loss a few. What a great way to see upper classmen and lower. The kids we grew up with and played sports with. So at my class reunion Friday night, I'll  talk to them, to see if we can have an all 60's reunion the next time around.
Thank You
