I live in Parryville.
Some Facts about the wee lil town that I call Home. The population of Parryville is
approximately 488. The approximate number of families is 202. The amount of land area
in Parryville is 4.223 sq. kilometers. The amount of surface water is 0.06 sq.
kilometers:.,We have a gas station,store,5 stop signs, a creek lots of hills,trees,pigs,a
bats...The town is boarded by mountains, There are a total of 5 roads in the whole
town..
We have to get our mail from the post office..We do have a corner store..And a restaurant
that has great food..Called Walks Resturaunt..Parryville should be renamed the bat capitol
of the world..On a quiet night you can hear the grass grow..We are located between
Bowmanstown and Lehighton...
This Was the Old High School it is now the Vol. Fire Company
Our Claim to fame is a big old oak tree..It is said to be the oldest living tree in Carbon
county..Parryville to me is the Ideal place to raise a family because its a safe neighborhood
but yet your not that far that you cannot hop in the car and go to the malls.
