Niki, the M2...

This is Niki, the Moluccan Cockatoo!





I got her early in 1999. Niki's previous owner was moving away and couldn't take her along; and Niki wasn't a happy girl and had developed many problems. As with most M2s, Niki is a real clown. She has a VERY large vocabulary (we estimate around 350 words included in many phrases). Tiki seems to have picked up quite a bit from Niki (especially the word "shut-up" at a pretty loud volume!). Their names are fairly close, so it is really funny when they talk to eachother because both of them think the other one knows their name. Niki tends to get loud, and has a bit of an issue with my Dad's health, so we're about to try a move. She's been with us over 8 years. BUT - She gets to go live with her ol' buddy Goose. Fingers crossed that it works out!
