DAVID L. MEYER
July 4, 1998
Buried and layed to rest with a full military funeral.
from the lake, from the hill,
from the sky.
All is well, safely rest. God is nigh.
Thanks and praise for our days
'neath the sun, 'neath the stars,
'neath the sky.
As we go, this we know.
God is 'nigh.
I prayed that my brother would not die this way, now I can only pray that he did not die in vain.
If his passin' saves but one life it will not have been in vain.
God had to gently remind us one more time this disease kills.
Many die each day just like my brother did.
It has come a long way over the years but still has a long ways left to go.
The sad part of it is he left behind a family that loved him so much.
Two sons and 5 grandchildren that he will never see grow up.
The only comfort that we have today is that he is in a far better place.
No more pain and suffering. And just maybe today he has found that peae
and serenity of bein' sober that he tried so hard to attain. Always remember Bro you may
be gone but never forgotten And all that you have touched are better for it
Including me. We will always love you.
An angel here, an angel there,
I知 surrounded by angels everywhere.
When I知 in the middle of a terrible storm
They come with their candles to keep me warm.
*クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク
An angel to comfort, an angel to guide,
An angel to fill that dark hole inside.
An angel to cry on, an angel who cares,
I知 surrounded by angels, everywhere.
*クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク
The angels who reach out when times are rough
Who値l listen to my heartache and all kinds of stuff
Bright in the sunshine and in dark of night
The angels surround me with comforting light.
*クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク
I guess God is busy and can稚 come on down
To give me a smile and take care of my frown
So He sent a few angels to brighten my day
And help to carry my burdens away.
*クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク *クキ、*コク
So thank you, dear angels, more than you値l know
For watering the happiness and making it grow!
