I want you to know, dear friend

I stand by you all the time

I have and will always support and encourage you

Make sure you always succeed.

I'm here for you, dear friend

A shoulder you can cry on

To listen, understand, and suppoert you

To guide you through your life

Just like you guide me through mine.

Sometimes you may frustrate me, dear friend

But than I realize that the opposite is true

Remember, when at times you're feeling down

That nobody's perfect, we all make mistakes.

I know sometimes, dear friend

That you feel low and blue

I know that you feel like you're the only one

But i know the feeling

I've been there too.

So give me your hand, dear friend

Together as best friends

We'll travel as asventurers

And successfully travel

On through the right path

Filled of hope and love.

Even though, dear friend

We'll take seperate paths along the way

Somehow we will always end up

Traveling together.

For if one of us should choose, dear friend

The path of hate and sorrow

The one who is on the right path will see the other through

To help them on to the right track.

And if, dear friend

We both go wrong

We can work together

As a team

And pull ourselves

Back onto the right path.

I know, dear friend

We can achieve our goals

And face life together

We'll help each other through it

And deal with the love and pain

That destines us ahead together.

Through generations of time

And maybe, just maybe

The secret of life

Is a best friend who will always remain loyal and true.

No matter what should happen, dear friend

Good or bad

Remember, that we hold the key to life

If we just use it

And travel through life

Like it is a journey

Together, forever,'til the end

Hand and hand.

So take my hand, dear friend

As we make our way through life

If neither of us let go
