I am aware of your loneliness.

Since your loved one is gone,

your heart feels heavy as lead.

You feel that your pain is too much to bear.

I am here to remind you of my presence,

of my love.

I never abandon my children.

Human love often falters,

but my love for you is sure, steadfast.

I love you too much to leave you alone.

You are mine, precious in my sight.

You need not be afraid of being alone,

of being deserted by me.

I am your ever-present Helper,

your Comforter, the lover of your soul.

When the darkenss settles over the earth

and you feel especially lonely,

remember that I am with you.

I will light your way,

I will be your inner light.

When the dawn spills

into your bedroom window,

remindind you

that another day is before you,

and you feel too crushed to move,

I am your strength.

Lean on me.

I am present to restore you,

to renew your tired body.

When you're not sure of which path to follow,

which decision to make,

I am present.

I will direct you.

Be still and listen to my voice.

I speak softly, gently.
