These are some of the recipies I have used when I run out of
Salad Dressing or when I want the kids to eat something, so I
make a dip. My kids love to dip....meat, fries, veggies, fruit and
anything else on their plates. Also included are recipies that
are handy when you have company and have to feed them 'something'!
(I'm sure we have all been there at one time or other)
Honey Dill Dipping Sauce
6 tbsp mayonnaise 8 tbsp liquid honey
1 tsp dried dill weed
Combine all ingredients. Chill before serving.
Great for dipping veggies and chicken strips.

Honey Mustard Dip
6 tbsp mayonnaise 8 tbsp liquid honey
2 tbsp prepared mustard
Combine all ingredients. Chill before serving.

Dairy Delicious Dip
1 pkg cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed 1/4 cup sugar
1-2 tbsp maple syrup
Combine cream cheese, sour cream, sugars and syrup in a small
bowl. Beat until smooth. Chill before serving.
Good for dipping hot dogs and chicken strips.

Cracker Dip
1/2 pkg cream cheese 250 ml sour cream
1 brick marble cheese,grated 1 tomato, chopped
3 grn onions, chopped 1 grn pepper, chopped
6 broccoli flowers, cut small
Mix together sour cream and cream cheese. Spread on platter.
Sprinkle veggies over cheese mixture evenly and top with
grated marble cheese. Scoopable!

Ceaser Salad Dressing
1 egg, whipped 1/2 cup oil
2 cloves garlic, minced dash of lemon juice
dash of tobasco sauce dash of worcestershire sauce
grated parmasan cheese to taste
Mix all ingredients together. Pour over Romaine Lettuce and
top with bacon bits and croutons. NOTE: for every egg increase
oil by 1/2 cup.

Cucumber Yogurt Dressing
1 med cucumber, peeled 1 tsp basil or fresh dill weed
& cut into pieces 2 tbsp chopped parsley
5 grn onions, chopped 2 cloves garlic
16oz plain yogurt, drained 1 1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp lemon juice 1/2 tsp black pepper
Place all ingredients in food processor & blend until smooth.
Serve over salad greens, pasta salad, or broiled fish. Dill
works best with fish.

Balsamic Vinegar Dressing
8 tbsp water 2 tsp salt
2 cups balsamic vinegar 2 tsp oregano
4 tbsp dijon mustard black pepper to taste
8 tbsp lemon juice 2 tsp sugar
4 cloves garlic, crushed 2 tsp parsley, chopped
Mix all ingredients together in a jar and shake. Pour over
salad greens...nice and tangy!
