THESE PAGES DO NOT HAVE THE SOUTHERN
LAY FAMILIES LISTED, AND ARE NOT CONNECTED.
These are the descendants of John
Lay Sr. as best as I can determine through nineteen years of research. I believe this to be
true, where others may have their own ideas. I know that there are errors that have gotten
past me and will be corrected as I discover them. I hope that this will be of benefit to
others that are researching the John LAY Sr. Line.
I might add, that this line is through the first son, John (Drummer) Lay, b. 1633, of his
first marriage.
Because I have always loved the music of
Hank Williams SR., I have chosen a medley of his music for this page.
