FAREWELL MY FRIEND

I just came to say goodbye.
I'll do my best not to cry.
I wanted you to know
I hated to see you go.
I asked God why this had to be.
He reach out his hand and sent me here.
It so hard trying to make sense out of this.
There are no easy answers to comfort me.

It's was an honor to have known someone like you,
Respected by so many for the things you do.
Your loving, your caring, your giving and your sharing
Made you who you are and who I'll miss.
I'm going to miss the talks we had,
Talking about good things and things that made us sad.

I have to go on, that's what you would want,
But I will always keep you alive in my heart.
I know you're happy where you are.
Singing with the angels, dancing among the stars.
But there's reason I came today.
Farewell, my Friend was what I wanted to say.
