We received this as an email from one of our cousins, 7/19/1999.
Friends,
Our niece Lee Pickett (Dale) came to live with us when she was 16, we "raised her" for two years. She now lives in Boulder, Colo., and has breast cancer again. She had a lump removed 3 years ago and had to undergo chemotherapy three days after coming in 8th in the Boulder Marathon. Now she has to go through surgery again Monday morning.
It's hard to figure out how somebody so healthy can have this problem. She's 5 ft. 8 in. tall and weighs 120 pounds and looks like a movie star. At 38 years of age, she runs 5 to 7 miles a day. Does 1,000 sit-ups and 100 pushups a day. She eats so healthy, its mindboggleing. She's done this since she was 17 years old (I taught her). This is a family genetic problem, taking our Grandmother in 1933, and many Pickett women since.
Please remember her is your prayers for Monday morning surgery. She is not a Christian and has no interest in asking the Lord for help. Pray that she be healed and that God get the undeniable glory and that she will know Him through gratitude for the healing.

Received 6/1/99 Please Pray for Haley Anissa Garcia, our 4 year old granddaughter, who suffered a puptured cerebral aneurysm when she awoke from her nap with a screamind headache. She is in ICU at Children's Hospital in Dallas. Please add Haley and her parents to your prayer lists. Her Nene, Sandi.

Also I have a big mouth and I just can't learn to shut it up. Trouble finds me all the time. Please lift this up. Thank you in Jesus name.
