My Genealogy Most Wanted

Please don't give this information to anyone as facts because I don't have any proof that John Minton is Phillips father or John Mayton is Johns father or John Silvey is Williams father this is only my opinion and everyone knows how opinions are. Everyone has got one. I am hoping that someone out there had the proof of who Phillip Minton, John Mayton and William Silveys  parents are.

One of my most wanted is information on the parents of Phillip Minton b. Abt.1768, d. aft. Oct.1804 & bef. Oct.1805 in Washington Co. VA., m.Feb.16,1786 in Washington Co. Va. to Levina Watkins b. 1770 in PA.

SOURCES:Marriage: Marriage records Washington Co. Va. Book 4 pg.310

Phillips son Richard Minton in the 1880 Russell Co. VA. census said both parents

was born in Virginia. But Richards mother, Levina in 1850 Smyth Co. VA census, said she was born in PA. So Phillip might not have been born in VA.

The other Mintons in Washington Co. Virginia were:
