David Watkins, MA Line, Elizabeth Morris former Widow, W25715, BLW #86043-160-55, soldier m. Elizabeth Neely Sept. 15, 1813 at Pompey in Onondaga Co.NY & soldier appl there Sept. 1, 1820 age 58 with a wife Betsey age 37 & children at home; Polly 22, Lewis Neely 12, Polly Neely 10 (2 children of his wife), Stuart 6, David 4, Thomas 5 months & grandaughter Sally Watkins age 3 the daughter of Polly Watkins, soldier d. July 19, 1826 at Hastings NY, soldier had orig appl Apr. 6, 1818 at Pompey NY, widow appl June 21, 1858 in Onondaga Co.NY age 77 a res of Cazenovia in Franklin Co.NY & she appl there for BLM on the same day.

Edward Watkins, VT Line, S11669, soldier was b. June  1764 in Ashford CT & lived in Walpole in Cheshire Co. NH at enlistment, he appl Oct. 2, 1832 at Surry in Cheshire Co. NH.

Edward Watkins, Va Line, wife Molly, W6417, soldier was b. in Powhatan Co. Va & lived there at enlistment & appl there Aug. 15, 1832 age abt. 85, soldier m. Molly in Chesterfield Co. Va prior to start of Rev.War , soldier d. Apr. 9, 1835, widow appl Jan. 27, 1837 in Powhatan Co. Va age 84.

Ephraim Watkins, CT Line, S43220, appl May 6, 1818 in Delaware Co.NY age 78, soldier enlisted at East Haddam CT, Robert Watkins made aff'dt Dec. 7, 1818 as to soldiers service & stated soldier had been supported by his children for some yrs but no finship was shown between Robert & phraim Watkins, in 1820 soldier stated he had no wife & was supported by his children in Harpersfield NY.

Gassaway Watkins, MD Line, wife Eleanora B., W15857, BLW #2406-300-11 May 1790, soldier m. Eleanora B. Clagett Apr. 26, 1803, soldier lived in Anne Arundel Co. MD at enlistment & appl there Apr. 23, 1818, soldier d. July 14, 1840 in Anne Arundel Co MD & his widow appl May 13, 1853 in Howard Co. MD age 71, soldier & wife had 13 children but only a son Thomas W. Watkins of Anne Arundel Co.MD  in 1828 was named in the claim.

Gilbert Watkins, MA Line S43219, soldier was b. at Natick in Middlesex Co.MA & later moved from Partridgefield in Berkshire Co.MA to Caroline in Tioga Co.NY in 1812 & he appl there Aug. 5, 1819 age 54 04 55 & soldier d. there Mar. 1824, soldier m. Sarah who d. Dec. 25, 1840 in Monroe Co. MI, in 1852 surviving children were; James 52, Susan 44 both were living in Van Buran Co. MI.

Jedediah Watkins, CT Line & also serves in French & Indian War, wife Abigail, R11188, soldier was b. at Ashford CT & lived there until 1800 then moved to Lima in Livingston Co. NY where he d. Aug. 19, 1832 age 92 yrs 10 mo. 2 days, soldier m. Abigail "Nabby" Gould in mothers home at Ashford CT between Jan & the 1st of May in 1782, widow appl Oct. 22, 1845 at Lima NY age 86, soldier & wifes 1st child was Adolphus Watkins who was b. Jan. 26, 1783 at Ashford CT & in 1845 he lived   at Lima NY & he referred to having visited 2 uncles at Lima NY when hw was age 15, a son Cyrus Watkins was age over 46 in 1845 & lived at Lima NY, other children shown were; John , Cassinai, Arte, Grant & Nabby who were all born at Adshford CT, widow referred to her bro. John Gould having served in Rev.War from Ashford CT & soldiers nephew William Watkins also served in Rev War from there.

John Watkins, MD Line, R11191, appl May 29, 1841 in Baltimore Co. MD age 83 & he had lived there at enlistment, soldier b. Mar. 5, 1758 abt. 15 miles from Baltimore MD.

John Watkins, NC Line, R11190, soldier was b. in 1755 in Fairfax Co.Va and lived 18 miles below Hillsboro on the Flat River in NC at enlistment and he lived for 14 yrs on the Saluda River in SC where he was married and after his wife died he lived with his mother on the head waters of the Edisto River in Edgefiels Co.SC then moved to where his brother lived on the Catawba River in the edge of NC where he lived for 8 or 9 yrs then returned to his mothers where he was again married & lived there 2 yrs then moved to Greenville Dist.SC 4 miles from Greenville SC & later moved to Giles Co.Tn in 1813 & had lived there since except for 5 months he lived in the state of IN then returned to Giles Co.Tn where he appl Aug. 1, 1842.

John Watkins, SC Line, wife Rachel Deavours former widow, W7003, Widows last husband George Deavours also served in the Rev Army, soldier m. Rachel Bishop sometime during the Rev War , they had 2 or 3 children who were all dec'd prior to 1853, soldier was killed by the Tories at his home in Spartanburg Dist. SC & soon after the Rev War his widow m. 2nd George Deavoura & he d. Sept. 4, 1829, widow and 2nd husbands children were; James, Elizabeth, Christopher, Isaac, Sarah, Abraham who m. Abigail on Jan.8, 1829.

John Watkins Va Line, S31460, was b. June 7, 1756 in Rockingham Co.Va, served an apprenticeship at Charlottesville Va, when he enlisted & after his service he lived in Buckingham Co.Va until 1818 then moved to Harrison Co.Ky where he appl Dec.27, 1832.

John Watkins Va Line, S39878, enlisted in Cumberland Co.Va, he appl Aug. 4 1819 in Bedford Co.Va aged 63, in 1821 soldier had 8 children at home "3 sons & 3 daughters", soldier d. Jan. 11, 1838, in 1843 the only surviving children were 2 daughters; a Mrs. Witheron & a Mrs. Wilcher.

Judith the youngest daughter of William Livingston, Esq. the Gov. of the state of NJ & they were m. Apr. 6, 1780 & their children were; John b. June 10, 1761 & d. Mar. 10, 1782, Susannah b. Oct. 18, 1783, William b. Apr. 19, 1785, Lydia b. Jan. 22, 1787, Sarah Elizabeth b. Jan. 25, 1790 & d. Jan. 9, 1796, John b. Oct. 2, 1791 & charles b. July 28, 1793, soldier d. Oct. 24, 1813 age 56 yrs 6 days, widow appl Nov. 9, 1838 in NY city NY age 77 yrs.

Jonathan Watkins, PA Line & Privateer Srv, S17761, soldier was b. in 1761 near Valley Forge in Chester Co.PA & he lived there at enlistment, he appl May 9, 1833 in Athens Co. OH at which time he refered to the death of his 1st. wife.

Joseph Watkins, VA Line, wife Susan, W6416, soldier m. Susan Nov. 1786 & soldier d. Sept. 9, 1823, wife appl July 1, 1843 in King & Queen Co.Va. age 74, children shown were: Caty b. Mar. 4, 1791, Elizabeth b. Dec.1 1794, Jolly b. Sept. 18, 1800, a nephew Phillip Watkins son of soldiers brother.

Leonard Watkins, MD Line, wife Mary, W8976, soldier m. Mary Higdon Dec. 1781, he appl Apr. 22, 1818 in Anne Arundel Co. MD & Nov. 17, 1820 moved to Montgomery Co.MD and was age 66, wife age 60 , they had orphaned female living with them named Sarah Smith age 14 or 15, soldier d. Oct. 10, 1828, widow appl Mar. 16, 1839 in Montgomery Co. MD age 78, a son William made aff'dt July 26, 1839, other children; Benjamin, Ann E.

Mark Watkins, Cont & MD Line, wife Esther, W4847, soldier was b. Dec. 6, 1762 at Hopkinton MA and lived at Partridgefield MA at enlistment & lived there until 1790 then moved to Herkimer Co.NY for 3 yrs then moved to Naples in Ontario Co.NY where he appl Aug. 28, 1832, soldier m. Esther Legg Apr. 19, 1784 , in 1835 they moved to St. Joseph Co. MI where soldier d. June 21, 1836 & his widow appl there Mar. 27, 1839 age 71, soldier had also served under his father Capt. Nathan Watkins.

MA & her brothers Charles Loomer & Rogert Watkins were at the wedding, soldiers & widows children were: Erastus b. Dec. 6, 1789, Lucinda b. May 2, 1802, a son William made aff'dt Mar. 10, 1851 in Lake Co. IN & stated father b. Feb. 11, 1833, soldier orig appl Dec. 12, 1832 in Oswego Co.NY age 72 being at Holliston MA on Nov. 29, 1760, soldier enlisted at Partridgefield MA where he lived until age 40 the moved to Oneida Co. NY & in Mar. 1828 moved to Oswego Co. NY, soldiers daughter Sylvia Cole made aff'dt Feb. 8, 1851 & stated mothers maiden name was Margaret McNeel soldiers first wife who d. July 1794 at Partridgefield MA and her father m. 2nd Lucy Loomer & she stated that her father & Lucy had 9 children.

Va, soldier was b. in Botetourt Co.Va & lived in Bedford Co. the part that later became Campbell Co.Va at enlistment & he appl there Aug. 28, 1832 age 74 yrs 3 days &  d. there Oct. 7, 1832 & widow d. Feb. 19, 1839.

Samuel Watkins, NC Line, S3465, soldier was b. June 15, 1760 in Anson Co.NC & lived in Richmond Co.NC at enlistment & he lived there until 1811 then moved to Stewart Co.Tn. & in 1819 moved to Humphrets Co. Tn where he appl July 23, 1833, soldier also served as a sub for his brother Thomas Watkins.

Jan. 15, 1750 in Amherst Co.Va & lived there at enlistment, he lived 44 yrs in Va then moved to Jefferson Co.Tn. in 1827 & appl there Nov. 2, 1833 and d. there Sept. 28, 1849, soldier m. Sarah Jan. 10, 1798 in Buckingham Co.Va , widow appl June 5, 1850 in Jefferson Co.Tn age 76.
