SALLY: Mom, are you wearing that perfume your friend gave you.
MOM: Yes, it is called Lilac Love. My friend's husband works where the make it and she got it at a discount.
SALLY: You know mom, it smells just like Grandma's backyard when the Lilacs are blooming.
MOM: Thank you, Sally. I put it on almost every day now.
SALLY: You do.
MOM: Yes, why?
SALLY: I was in the store the other day and saw a display with that perfume in it.
MOM: It is very popular, you know.
SALLY: Yes, but who would be able to afford it?
MOM: What do you mean?
SALLY: Mom, it was $39.95 for a small bottle.
MOM: Oh, my. If I had known it cost that much I would have saved it for special occasions. Here I have been using it almost every day.
SALLY: It is just like my Sunday School teacher said about the Bible.
MOM: What was that, Sally?
SALLY: She said that most people have a Bible, but they don't understand how valuable it is.
MOM: You know, you're right. The Bible is more valuable than expensive perfume.
SALLY: Yes, but the wonderful thing about the Bible is that you can use it every day and never run out of it.
MOM: How about you boys and girls? Do you realize how important the Bible is. Do you realize that it explains how you can have eternal life.
SALLY: And did you know that it gives you guidelines for living your life?
MOM: Some people know it's the inspired Word of God. We need to thank the Lord for giving us the Bible.
SALLY: Boys and girls you need to study your Bibles so you can find the hidden treasures inside.
MOM: See you next time. Bye boys and girls.
