SALLY: Dad, how do you know when you've got the right God?
DAD: What do you mean, Sally? That is a strange question coming from you.
SALLY: You see, I was looking at some mission photos and there were people in the photo who were kneeling before a strange idol.
DAD: Is that all. There are people all over the world in back countries that worship other gods. We know it isn't right, but they don't.
SALLY: I know that, Dad, but these were people in a big city, in the civilized world worshiping idols. They think they have the right god.
DAD: Yes, but the Bible says there is only one God. He is the creator of the earth. He made everything including man.
SALLY: (pause for a while) So that's why we believe in Him? Because He's so great?
DAD: Partly, but more than that.
SALLY: Like He sent His Son, Jesus to die?
DAD: There's still more. Jesus did more than die for us, as wonderful as that was.
SALLY: That's pretty wonderful. What else could anyone do beyond that?
DAD: Sally, He also arose.
SALLY: And that makes Him special.
DAD: No, that makes Him God. No other god has ever done this or will do this. No other religion in the world has a living Savior!
SALLY: Wow, that is very special.
DAD: But there is more. He hears and answers prayers,
SALLY: Let me see if I get this right. There are wooden gods, stone gods, golden gods and probably every other kind of god.
DAD: That's right.
SALLY: But our God was different. He is alive! Only He can hear and answer our prayers. I think I will go and pray to the only true, living God. Bye everyone.
DAD: Bye Sally. Bye boys and girls.
