CHRIS: Mom, how many animals were on the ark?
MOM: The Bible says two of each.
CHRIS: How did Jonah keep from drowning in the whale's tummy?
MOM: There is always some air in a whale's tummy, so I guess that's why!
CHRIS: How far away are the stars? Can we take a trip to one of them?
MOM: They are many light years away. We are not able at this time to travel that far.
CHRIS: Mom, who made God?
MOM: No one did.
CHRIS: Then where did God come from?
MOM: You are sure full of questions. God always was.
CHRIS: God always was, what kind of answer is that.
MOM: As you grow older, you'll understand it a bit better, but even then it will be hard.
CHRIS: How come?
MOM: You see, our minds are not as great as God's mind, and there are some things we just can't understand.
CHRIS: You mean my mind is not big enough.
MOM: Something like that. For now we just have to accept the fact that God always existed.
CHRIS: But He had to come from somewhere!
MOM: Look here at my wedding ring (holds hand out with ring on finger). I want you to tell me where this ring starts and where it stops.
CHRIS: But it doesn't start or stop. It's just a circle that doesn't have a beginning or an ending.
MOM: Our God is so big that He doesn't have a beginning or an ending. God is eternal. God is all places at all times. He's there in the beginning and He's there at the ending and all place in between.
CHRIS: But the end hasn't got here yet.
MOM: You see, we think of our lives in minutes and days and weeks and years. But with God, there is no such thing as time. He is always there and has always been.
CHRIS: Boy, that's something to think about.
MOM: Boys and girls, aren't you glad your God is so big that no human mind can fully understand Him. Don't waste time trying to understand how He had no beginning and accept the fact that it is true. See you later boys and girls.
CHRIS: Bye everyone.
