PUPPET SCRIPT

"THE RIGHT TOOLS"
Jeremiah 1:4-10
PUPPETS: Uncle Luey & Joey

JOEY: Uncle Luey, did you hear about Butch?

    LUEY: No, Joey, what happened?

JOEY: Butch's best friend, Brian wasn't at school Friday.

LUEY: That's not good but there are worse things.

JOEY: It is not that he was not at school but the reason he was not that upset Butch.

LUEY: Well, some of the kids say that Brian's mother is going to die and Butch wanted to go see him but was afraid to.

JOEY: Well, I understand how he felt, but he should know that his friend needs him.

LUEY: I think that is what his mom and dad told him.

JOEY: I'm glad. Did they go?

LUEY: His mom and dad asked if it would be easier for him if they went with him.

JOEY: That was really smart of them. Did he take them up on their offer?

LUEY: He sure did. When they got back from the visit, Butch thanked his mom and dad because Brian really needed that visit.

JOEY: How about you boys and girls? Is there something you feel God wants you to do, like visit a sick friend, or witness to a friend?

LUEY: Yes, boys and girls. Maybe you have been saying "but I'm just a kid. I can't do that". If God asks you to do a job, He will give you the necessary tools to handle it.

JOEY: Stop making excuses and go do it. You'll feel a lot better after you do.
