MOM:	Sally, what was wrong with you today?
SALLY:	What do you mean?
MOM:	I just couldn't seem to get you to get up from bed.
SALLY:	Mom, the bed was so warm.
MOM:	I know that, Sally.
SALLY:	And the floor was so cold.
MOM:	I know that too.
SALLY:	And, besides, it was just church day.
MOM:	Just church day!!! What do you mean just church day.
SALLY:	You know what I mean.
MOM:	No, I don't. Tell me.
SALLY:	Well, I mean...........you know what I mean. It's just hard to get up on Sunday. I like to sleep in.
MOM:	But what about yesterday?
SALLY:	What about it? It was my birthday.
MOM:	I know. But the floor was just as cold and the bed was just as warm and you still got up real early.
SALLY:	But I wanted to open my presents. It was real important. It was a special day.
MOM:	Sundays are special days too, Sally.
SALLY:	Well......
MOM:	Sundays are days we set apart to learn more about God's Word and to worship Him.
SALLY:	Yes, I know
MOM:	Going to church is a privilege we take too much for granted. We forget it's special.
SALLY:	I see what you mean. I think I'll take one of the ribbons off of one of my presents and put it where it will remind me that Sunday is special also.
MOM:	How about you boys and girls? Do you have trouble getting up for church? Maybe Sunday morning is a hassle at your house because your dad and mom always have to be yelling at you to hurry up and get moving. Treat Sunday as a special day. Get to bed early on Saturday so you'll be ready to serve and worship the Lord on Sunday. Bye everyone.
SALLY:	See you later, Mom. Bye boys and girls.
