Julia Melissa Larkham was the second child of William and Hannah (Palmer) Larkham. She never married and she lived with her parents for a good deal of her adult life. She was a dressmaker by occupation. Later in life, she went by Melissa Julia. She was buried near her parents in the Larkham family plot at Packerville Cemetery, Packerville Baptist Church, Plainfield, Windham County, CT.
I have several of her books and an old bible of hers. I suspect these were given to my great-grandmother after Julia's death in 1931.
