We were thrilled to welcome descendants of the Duncan Barlow family to our reunion for the first time. Although they had been living in Camden County, Georgia for a number of years, we did not realize that they were also descendants of the first William Barlow of Robeson Co., NC. Duncan Barlow, born in Robeson County, NC, moved to Montgomery County, Georgia in 1842. Later he moved to Clinch County, Georgia and was soon followed by his half-brother William Barlow. Duncan's father was William Barlow 3, and his mother was Nancy Ferguson, who died sometime before or shortly after the move to Montgomery County.
