So you are hot and cold at the same time? Well, I am not talking about the weather here. What I'm talking about is what kind of Christian are you? You can't be lukewarm and be in God's grace! The Bible warns us. Here is what it says:

"So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth". (Revelation 3:16)

What kind of life are you living for Christ? When you were saved, your sins were forgiven and you are heaven bound. Now it is up to you to walk in faith and draw nearer to the Lord in spirit and truth.

"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." (Colossians 2:6,7)

>br> So we are to be thankful to God for our salvation and continue to built our relationship with Jesus as we live our daily lives. Our walk in faith is one of the most important things in our walk with Jesus.

"Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" (2 Corinthians 13:5)

If we take our eyes off Jesus then we will surly stray from His grace. A lot of times after we begin our Christian life, the newness dissolves and we take it as a sign that God is no longer with us. If you've been a Christian for awhile then you know this isn't true. God has left me alone many times. As a young Christian, I really thought He had forgotten about me but now I know that sometimes God only leaves us alone to help us grow in Him and learn to depend on Him for our strength.

If you feel you have sinned as a Christian, then go to God and tell Him. Ask Him to renew His forgiveness and His Spirit in you. As Christians we constantly need to repent and confess our sins to God. We are not perfect just because we are saved. The old nature we had before our salvation is still with us.

"Restore to me, the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. (Psalm 51:12)

"If we claim to be with out sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives". (John 1:8-10)

So don't let sin in your life rob you of your peace and joy in the Lord. Ask God to help you walk in His way and not your own. Remember that satan is alive and he is on this earth too. Nothing would please him more than to get your eyes off the Lord and make you a lukewarm Christian.

"For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want". (Galatians 5:17)

So what kind of Christian are you going to be? The secret to a successful Christian life is to let the fruit of the Spirit have control of our lives.

"But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Against such things there in no law". (Galatians 5:22,23)

When we bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit, we are living the life that God wants us to live. We will become the Christian that God wants us to be. Others will notice the change in you and that is how we witness for our Lord to them. If you see you are lacking in some ways, pray that God will help you obtain whatever is hindering your testimony.

If as Christians we let the old nature in control..sin will soon overcome us. When sin overcomes our lives it is not pleasing to God. If our lifestyle is controlled by sin, we must question if we sincerely trusted in Christ or if we were ever saved in the first place.

"Not everyone who calls me Lord will get into the Kingdom of heaven, only the ones who obey my Father will get in". (Matthew 7:21)

So if you are hot and cold...remember that God does not approve! He does not want to share you with this world and the sin in it. You are one or the other, there is no inbetween. So as a Christian, walk in faith, love the Lord with all your heart and soon you will become the witness to others that God wants you to be.

Please, if you need salvation and you want to go to heaven someday, repeat the prayer below and ask God into your heart. Alone with salvation, you will gain a best friend, someone who puts no limits on love, someone who will be beside you through all your trials and tribulations. Our Lord will forget all about your past sins, you can start anew in Him!

Heavenly Father, I know I am a sinner and I'm asking you to forgive me. Wash me with the blood of your Son Jesus, who died on the cross for me. I know you sacrificed your son for me that I could be saved and have eternal life. Come into my heart Lord and live your life through me. Thank you Lord for Your forgivness, and for the chance to spend eternity with you. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen!

Please say the Prayer and mean it. Call a friend or someone you know and confess the Lord before others. When you confess Jesus to others He will confess you before the Father.

"Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven". (Matthew 10:32)

Read your Bible, attend a Bible believing church and grow in the Lord through your daily walk on earth. Please, think about the day that you are laying on your death bed and consider where you will spend eternity. Oh! I want to spend time with you in heaven. Remember, our time on this earth is not forever. You will spend eternity in heaven or hell! There is no in-between. It's your choice! It is my prayer that you will make the right choice and that we will meet in heaven someday! I bet some of your loved ones are Christians. If so, don't put off your salvation and take the chance that you'll be seperated from them forever. I love you so much and God loves you! He made the choice possible for you and for me! Praise God!

One thing to remember...there is NOTHING in this world worth loosing your soul!
