Did you get warm in that other place where we talked about being hot and cold? Well, that is nothing compared to this place. This is where you'll go if you do not accept Jesus as your Saviour. It is called hell, Hades and the Bible also refers to it as Sheol!

It is also called the "lake of fire". It doesn't matter what you call it, the temperature never changes.

Exactly what is hell? Well, the Bible describes it as a place of everlasting punishment.

"And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal". (Matthew 25:46)

We know as Christians that there will be a judgement day. The book of Revelation reveals God sitting on a great white throne where he will open the book of life and anyone whose name is not found in that book is subject to everlasting punishment. The enemies of God and mankind will be cast into the "lake of fire." Anyone that turns away from God will not be found in the book of life.

"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire". (Revelation 20:15)

"Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels": (Matthew 25:41)

"But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons". (Colossians 3:25).

Hell is described in the Bible as eternal fire, outer darkness, being lost, perishing, etc. It is a place totally opposite from Heaven. The Bible tells us what it will be like for those that enter.

They are as "cast into outer darkness where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth"(Matt. 22:13;24:51; 25:30)

Who will you serve? You have two choices to choose from.

Jesus the King of Kings, the one that loves you? He came that we may have life and to have it more abundantly or will you serve Satan, the Father of all Lies, who has come to rob, kill and destroy?

Oh! I hope and pray you will choose Jesus. The Bible makes it clear who will NOT enter into heaven.

"Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God". (Galatians 5:21)

In today's world, Satan will use anything and everything to deceive you. He uses money, drugs, alcohol, prostitution, abuse, sex, and all kinds of other things to get his hold on you. Do you love money, sports, etc. more than you love God? Hey! these things don't have to be bad. It's when you put them before God in your life that makes them your enemy. You know satan uses those things to fool you. Please, don't be fooled by him. He only wants one thing and that is to destroy you and keep your mind off Christ.

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

"Therefore, one should not lay up for himself or herself material treasures on earth, but should lay up treasures in heaven, for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also" (Matthew 6:19-21)

Who is Satan?

Satan was once a beautiful Angel who served God his name was Lucifer which means "The Light Bearer". Satan became corrupted as he reasoned that he was very beautiful, this vanity corrupted his once perfect wisdom and his whole being became filled with violence.

He was also called serpent, devil, dragon, lucifer, the deciver.

"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelation 12:9)

He wanted to become like God and tried to exalt himself higher than God as he desired to be worshipped like God.

"For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north": (Isaiah 14:13)

"I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High". (Isaiah 14:14)

In his rebellion with God he deceived one third of the angels to follow him and he also deceived mankind in the beginning.

This is what happened to Satan.

"And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels", (Revelation 2:7)

"And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven". (Revelation 12:8)

"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him". (Revelation 12:9)

Satan is alive on this earth today and he has a lot of followers. That is why there is so much sin and suffering in the world today.

Why does he deceive so many people? He is not what he appears to be.

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ". (II Corinthians 11:13)

"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light". (II Corinthians 11:14)

"Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works". (II Corinthians 11:15)

Satan knows he's going to be destroyed. And in an attempt to get even with God, is going to take as many of God's creations down with him as he can. Satan doesn't play favorites; he'll use you, if you let him. You don't need to join Satan to be against God, you simply need not to be for God, and Satan knows this. I remember a friend of mine told me one time that she believed in heaven but she didn't believe in hell. I told her "that was wishful thinking". Then I proceeded to convince her that there is indeed a hell. One thing for sure, if you will turn your life over to Christ, you won't have to worry about going to that dreaded place. Think about this too. Do you want to take the chance of being seperated from your loved ones for eternity? Oh, my, it could happen.

Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: (Matthew 24:17) "Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. "Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh". (Matthew 24:40-44)

The day of our Lord is at hand. It won't be long now. So please consider your soul and where you will go when you die. Don't put it off. You may not live through another day or night. The Bible says we don't know when the Lord will return. We know though that the time is near.

"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up". (II Peter 3:10)

"Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. (Joel 1:15)

Remember...there is only one way to heaven. Please, repent of your sins. Ask God into your heart and He will send the Holy Spirit to guide you through your walk with Christ.

Please, if you need salvation and you want to go to heaven someday, repeat the prayer below and ask God into your heart. Alone with salvation, you will gain a best friend, someone who puts no limits on love, someone who will be beside you through all your trials and tribulations. Our Lord will forget all about your past sins, you can start anew in Him!

Heavenly Father, I know I am a sinner and I'm asking you to forgive me. Wash me with the blood of your Son Jesus, who died on the cross for me. I know you sacrificed your son for me that I could be saved and have eternal life. Come into my heart Lord and live your life through me. Thank you Lord for Your forgivness, and for the chance to spend eternity with you. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen!

Please say the Prayer and mean it. Call a friend or someone you know and confess the Lord before others. When you confess Jesus to others He will confess you before the Father.

"Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven". Matthew 10:32

Read your Bible, attend a Bible believing church and grow in the Lord through your daily walk on earth. Please, think about the day that you are laying on your death bed and consider where you will spend eternity. Oh! I want to spend time with you in heaven. Remember, our time on this earth is not forever. You will spend eternity in heaven or hell! There is no in-between. It's your choice! It is my prayer that you will make the right choice and that we will meet in heaven someday! I bet some of your loved ones are Christians. If so, don't put off your salvation and take the chance that you'll be seperated from them forever. I love you so much and God loves you! He made the choice possible for you and for me! Praise God!

If you are a Christian, you know you have eternal life right now. Please, lets never give up praying for our loved ones that aren't saved. Each day, I pray for the lost souls in my family. Oh! I pray for yours too. It is my hope and prayer that God will bless you and keep you until His return! Hang in there...It Won't Be Long!
