Size: Males up to 1 and one fourth inches (3 cm), females up to 2 and one fourth inches (6 cm)

Description: They vary in form and color. Males are very colorful and females are usually grey or a mixture of two color. Guppys have a variety of fin shapes and colors due to selective breeding.
Breeding: They are very easy to breed. The males anal fin forms a gonopodium. Mature females show a gravid spot abouve their anal fin. The adults will eat the young so it is best to use a breeding trap or a heavily planted tank.
