Thanx Ghatten ... I've been trying to take a graphic in PSP and give it a transparent b'ground .. but I'm soooo lost with how to do it :/ .. the help files don't explain it well at all.

You need to set up the preferences
to set the background to transparent
and then make sure the background color of the two colors selected is the same as the image background
Set the preference in the file menu
"Set File Format Preferences"
select .gif
and check "Set background color to transparent"
It works if you make sure that the color is solid and that it is selected as the background color in PSP
Starlight: when you have finished your graphic ... click on the eye dropper ... then right click on the color that you want to make transparent....

Then go to File... save as... in the popup window click on Options....

I'm still not sure what cell spacing actually does in a table cell padding I understand .. I use it cos I know I'm s'posed to .. lol .. but when I change the attribute for cell spacing .. nothing seems to change .. and if I eliminate it completely nothing seems to change either :/

and then but some text in there

When I had the old version of mIRC it would *stay* in *logging* from one session to the other. Now I have the newer version and I have to *remember to do it manually. *WHY????
