Salute to Fathers

It seems that Fathers get lost in the shuffle most of the time.
It is a known fact that Mother's Day is right up there with Christmas
as the busiest shopping season of the year. But, no one has a problem
getting a phone line on Father's Day, or finding a parking place in the mall.

With that in mind, I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute
to Fathers; those men in the background of our lives, who should be
brought to the forefront much more often than they are; those men who
stand in the dim shadows cast by the limelight that shines upon our Mothers.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, DADS OF ALL AGES! WE LOVE YOU!

And, as a gesture of good faith that I will honor Fathers every day
of the year and encourage my readers to do the same, I am leaving
this page up indefinitely. Let us not forget our Fathers. For I know all too well,
that the day will come when we wish with all our hearts that we could
have another day with our Dads.
