This is my tribute to Mothers
It is my belief that every day
should be Mother's Day.
We should honor our Mothers
every day of the year.
On this page I present to you
some Mothers in my life
who deserve special recognition.
My Mother,

The following is a poem I wrote In 1991
Heartaches and disagreements are
A part of every family's life,
But the family's strength is measured by how
It overcomes the strife.
Your words of wisdom oftentimes
Went totally unheeded,
But you always stood right by me with
The guidance that I needed.
God blessed me greatly when he sent me
To be your little girl.
You tried your best to prepare me for
The cold and cruel world.
You've held the family together with
Firm hand and loving heart...
You've instilled in me a bond I feel
Whether near or far apart.

I wrote this poem on Mother's Day... don't know the year.
There is such a special bond between a Daughter and her Mother
That cannot be compared with the love of any other.
The closeness that we share grows stronger day by day
Til words alone cannot express the things I want to say.
I searched the racks of lovely cards for just the one for you...
I read them all and realized not one of them would do.
I had to try to find the words to somehow let you know
How very much you mean to me and that I love you so.
So I've composed these verses and I hope that I impart
That you, my Darling Mother, I will carry in my heart.
