AARS Winning Rose: 1969Angel Face
This is a wonderful rose.  The "Angel Face" has ruffled, deep mauve flowers, produced on a low-growing shrub which is winter hardy.  The fragrance is excellent.

"Angel Face" would not be classified as disease resistant; blackspot may spot the foliage from time to time.  If you provide excellent growing conditions (good soil preparation, good drainage, adequate sunlight), the "Angel Face" should do just fine.

Class:  Floribunda
ARS Color Classifation: Mauve
Flowers:  Deep mauve; ruffled, 35-40 petals
Size:  36" to 4 feet
Fragrance:   Excellent
National Rose Rating: 7.8 (Good)
note:   Unusual color, wonderful fragrance, prefers partial shade to full sun and moist soil.
