Homeplace; 52 acres between Reuney (Reune) Runyon and Benjamin Dotty (Doty); 23 ac. adjoining Henry Mallison; other real and personal property. Executors -- son Nicholas and Peter Runyon. Witnesses -- John Hepburn, Cornelius Bice (Boice) and Joseph Mitchell. Proved August 14, 1759. Lib. G. p. 93.

1759, Aug. 16. Inventory, £256.19.5, incl. cash and credits, £12.12.2; Bibles, Psalm book, etc., 10s.; looking glass, 14s.; made by Reune Runyon and John Hepburn, who, March 10, 1760, add an inventory of the goods left to the dec'd by Rynear Fontine, appraised at £17.4.6.

David LAFORGE, Richmond.  To my sons Philip and David all my wearing apparel.   To my wife Mary Eaforge [sic], during her widowhood, the use of all my estate.   If she should remarry she shall receive 100 pounds.  To my son Phillip, the house and lands where I now live and my salt meadow in the Fresh Kills, he paying 150 pounds for same.  The remainder to be equally divided between my daughter, Mary, wife of Winant Johnson; Catherine, wife of Charles Morgan; Sarah, wife of Daniel Chrocheron; and Elizabeth, wife of Henry Mersereau; the children of my daughter Susannah, deceased wife of John Latourette, David, Elizabeth and Susannah the portion that should have been their mother's.

In the name of God, Amen, January 19, 1767. I, NICHOLAS LAFARGE, of Richmond County, being sick. I leave to my sister Mary œ10; To my brother David's son, Philip, "one blue coat and Jacote Cote." My executors are to sell all estate, and after paying debts and funeral charges, the rest to go to my cousins [nephews] Philip and Nicholas, sons of David Lafarge, and
Charles and Nicholas, sons of Charles Lafarge. I make my brothers, David and Charles, executors.
Witnesses, John Lafarge, John Sequin. Proved, March 3, 1767, before Benjamin Seaman.

"In the name of God, Amen. I, ADRIAN LAFORGE, of Richmond County, farmer, being very sick. All debts to be paid. I do order that my daughter Mary shall have a maintainance out of my estate. I leave to my two sons, Adrian and John, all my real estate, lands, meadows, and houses; Also two horses and wagons and tackling, and four cows. I leave to my son Adrian my negro boy Warrick. To my son John a negro man Ben. I leave all the rest to my son David and the children of my son Charles, deceased [not named]. A bond is to be given for the support of my daughter Mary. I make my friends, Benjamin Seaman and his son Richard and James Latourette, executors."
Dated November 1, 1777. Witnesses, Richard Mersereau, shoemaker, John Silvester, taylor, Owen Limners. Proved, December 31, 1777.

And he is to pay to my sister Mary œ50 in three months. I make my brother John and Henry La Tourette, executors."  Witnesses, John La Tourette, Owen Limner, Rebecca Limner. Proved, February 2, 1778.

Unto my wife's daughter Mary, œ100, payable when she comes of age. Unto my wife Sarah, all the rest of my estate. Should either of the children die under age, or without issue, then that part shall return to my wife. I make Cornalius Cole and John Lisk and Sarah, my wife, executors.  Witnesses, Richard Mercerea, Christian Mercereau, Anne Mercerau. Proved, May 18, 1784.
