Happy Valentines Day

*big sigh* Valentines Day! A day of candy, roses, and romance? Why is it most men (and some women too) are only romantic this one day of the year? I want to dedicate this holiday to bringing back the romance in your life! And who knows!! Maybe you, or your significant other, will keep these ideas going all year long! Wouldn't THAT be a fairy tale ending!!!

Spice Up The Romance!

Ideas for the Man in your Life:

button Give him a full body massage complete with scented oils. If this isn't something you can do, buy one for him from a local salon! The results are priceless!

button Buy a little black thong, or any pair of sexy lingerie. Put it in a very small box, and place it in his briefcase with a note attached: "Can't wait until tonight!" You can bet he won't work late!

button Cook his favorite dinner wearing only fuzzy slippers!!

button Using Rain-X, leave him a secret message on the bathroom mirror in the morning. When he takes his shower, as the bathroom fogs up - the message will become crystal clear!

button When he comes home from work, greet him at the door ... wearing only a smile!!

button Find out three things he's always wanted to do, and make them happen!

button Pick up a copy of the Kama Sutra at the bookstore, and then try it!

button Cut out construction paper hearts with little sayings written on them, like the candies ... "I love you" ... "I'm Yours" ... and tape some red yarn to them. Hang them from the ceiling of the bedroom .. he will have fun reading all your messages!

Ideas for the Woman in your Life:

button Take a half day off work, and prepare a beautiful candlelit dinner (or get take out if you can't cook) and have it ready for her when she gets home from work.

button Put a post-it note on the bathroom mirror that says "You are beautiful" where she will see it before she even puts on her makeup!

button Run a warm bath for her, with a glass of wine, candles, and a good book waiting by the bathtub. Don't lay a towel out for her yet. Have her let you know when she's done, and place a fresh towel in the dryer for just a minute. The warm towel is such a wonderful touch!

button Call her at work (or at home) just to tell her you love her!

button Make a calendar using pictures of the two of you. Bonus points? Mark down all the important dates you have shared on the calendar!

button Place a flower under the windshield wiper of her car!

button Cut out hearts out of construction paper, and make "love coupons" (ex: this coupon good for one back rub), and place each coupon in a balloon. Cover the bed with the balloons. String a needle with thread or yarn and tape in inside a card. In the card, let your lover know that she needs to pop the balloons to get the prize!

button End a romantic night by telling her "100 Reasons Why I Love You"!! It's not as hard as you think to come up with 100 reasons!!

button Give her the gift of free time! Take the day off work, and do all the housecleaning on Friday. The two of you can then spend the entire weekend with each other, without the hassle of housework!

button Write a poem for her ... using a large piece of poster board and a thick dark marker. Tape or staple the poster board to a yardstick, or other long narrow piece of wood - and display your poem in your front yard! Let the world know how much you love her!

button You can never go wrong with a weekend retreat at a romantic bed and breakfast!
