Hi, I came across this page while checking out some links in my email (Sierra Newsletter). My maiden name is Tolar. My father's grandfather's name was Henry Trumbel Tolar an dhe was born in 1877 in Slabtown, Allen Co., Ohio. He died in 1949 or 1950 in
rand Rapids Michiagan. He had a brother Named John who moved to Mississippi. Supposedly they also spelled their name Toler. My cousins and I have been unable to get any further back than Henry.
