What can you expect to find in my "closet"? Most of the information will be directly related to my family lines however, I will have links to genealogy sites that I found helpful or that I enjoyed. Also under links there is a non-genealogy section where you will find links to some of my other interests, such as; Chows, photography, cooking, saltwater fish, birds and flowers. I will have some pictures of my ancestors, as I find them. I've started creating Our Family Plot with pictures of family headstones, transcriptions and burial information.
I am a volunteer on the Douglas County Help List for Headstone inscriptions and photography. Please do not ask for look up etc... as I don't have the time required and I hate to have to say no. However, if you have relatives buried in a Douglas Country Cemetery and you can provide the name of the cemetery, as well as the person(s) name and date of birth / death if you know it. I will do the rest and keep you posted. When I get the pictures back I will send them to you providing you have given me your snail mail address.
The W. Dale Clark Library, downtown Omaha, has a genealogy department, however I do not know what services they offer. Their address is: 215 S. 15th Street Omaha NE Phone number is (402) 444-4800.

From my own personal experience I found people on the internet more helpful and informative then my own family, with a few exceptions. I'm not saying every piece of information I've received has been accurate, then again not all information from my family has been either, but more times then not it has been.
