She was special in many ways,
one of which,was she had a heart big enough
to love everyone and showed it. God blessed her with a kindness that few will ever know.

I, as her daughter,
will have a hard road to travel
in order to come close to the kind
of woman that she was.

I have always admired her,
respected her, and loved her.
She was my very best friend
in the world as I was growing up
and into my adult life,
until the day that "God" in his wisdom,
called her home.

She never judged, or pointed her finger in blame.
She helped when she could,
and cried with you when she couldn't.
She was quick to smile,
and loved her family with a passion.

She,
Sarah Gurley Lancaster,
was and always will be a most
Phenomenal Woman.

Above all else, she was my "Mother".
