I am researching the Millican family. they are on the 1840 census, but the last name is spelled miligen. Hi Mike. very happy to see what you are doing with our part of the world and our ancestors, being born in Swedborg in 1938 I thought when we left there they would have to close down the town, but happy to see it survived us leaving, my grand father was Marion Jasper Johnson and Sarah Ann Hill, my father was Ransy Wallace Johnson and Mother was Ada Jane Sloan, I believe there are still some Sloans living in Dixon at this time, Keep up the good work and I will be sending you my tree as I have it now . thanks Warren Johnson

What a very nice page you have here! I really enjoyed reading about Pulaski County. My great- great-grandfather, Mathew McDaniel, and his wife, Jamima Black McDaniel, relocated to Pulaski between 1860 and 1870. I know Mathew was a Justice of the Peace for a while. He is buried in the cemetery in Ft. Leonard Wood. Mathew and Jamima's son, Leonadis, married Charlotte Mary Bumble, daughter of Wil iam Davis Brumble and Martha Farabee. I believe either the Brumbles or the McDaniels lived for a time on the "Bailey Homestead," per oral family history. Anyone having connections with McDaniels or Brumbles, please write. I do know they ended up in IL-(at least the 3rd child my gggrandfather did). Do you know of any disease that may have killed many people in 185 or just coincidence that they both died in the same year? Sorry for the ramblings - do you think the best bet would be to go to the newspaper for an obit on both and see what info is there? Thanks Ellen

Mike, outstanding page. I love all the history you've put in there. It's obvious you put a lot of work into your page and I will check back often to see what's new. I will add a link your page off of mine. ----Cousin Tim----

Terrific page with good graphics! Nice to meet one of the Wilkerson cousins too, Mike. If you have any connections in your lines to the Upper Cumberland Valley area of Kentucky and Tennessee, come check out my page too.
