So what's so great about a secret page? Well, since it's hidden from the public, it can contain swearing. Shit. Ooooh yeah, that felt good.

But when you think about it, what's the point of swearing? Perhaps it's just a tool for people who can't think of a more intelligent way of expressing themselves. Or perhaps, when used intelligently, it can emphasize a point. And why are certain words frowned upon so much? We teach little kids not to swear, but eventually they're gonna end up doing it anyway. If everyone accepted swearing as a part of the language then it wouldn't really be a problem would it? But maybe then we'd make up new words that are taboo. Maybe everyone would look at you funny if you said "blarg" in public.

Yes, interesting thoughts.

And while I'm ranting let me tell you a little story that explains how I feel about the internet: Once upon a time there were two people, Mr Real Life and Mr Internet Life. Mr Internet Life was a pretty cool fellow, but nobody could ever really talk to him because all he could do was spell out words, and he had no eyes. You could never really get to know him. Mr Real Life on the other hand, was even cooler and although Mr Internet Life was a fun distraction (probably because you could enjoy poking fun at his lack of eyes for hours on end), he never really lived up to Mr Real Life's personality. These two men weren't very fond of each other. They tried to avoid meeting each other unless they knew it was absoloutely safe to do so. But one day, Mr Internet Life clumsily bumped into Mr Real Life. Some kind of chemical reaction went off and both of them exploded, destroying the whole planet.

In other words, don't take the internet too seriously because your real life is much more important. And be careful about mixing the two, because there's bad stuff that can and has happened.
