KOREAN DIPPING SAUCE
Serves 4
An alternative to your standard dip for veggies,
this works equally well as a seasoning for rice or even pasta dishes.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons Japanese soy sauce,
3 tablespoons sesame oil,
3/4 teaspoon sugar,
1 teaspoon roasted and lightly crushed sesame seeds,
red pepper flakes.
Combine all ingredients.
Let sit for at least a half hour at room temperature.
Mix again before serving. Pass the bowl around.
