1996--Bette stars in The First Wives Club, her first movie to break $100 million at the box 
      office

2000--Bette's CBS sitcom, BETTE, premieres; it's cancelled after 10 episodes

2003--Bette's 19th album, BETTE MIDLER SINGS THE ROSEMARY CLOONEY SONGBOOK, is nominated for a
      Grammy in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category.  Tony Bennett and k.d. lang won.
2003/2004--Bette kicks off her Kiss My Brass tour which is a major critical and commerical
           success!!
2006--Bette's 20th album, BETTE MIDLER SINGS THE PEGGY LEE SONGBOOK, is nominated for a
      Grammy in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category.
