The Joshua Malina Birthday Page 2000

It's January 17... Happy Birthday, Joshua!

From Christine in Atlanta (thumbsup3@aol.com):

Happy Birthday, Joshua!

Thank you for helping make TV safe for smart people. The character of Jeremy is an inspiration: thoughtful, intelligent, confident and caring. Your dedication to us fans suggests these words also apply to you.

I hope you know how much we all appreciate your generosity toward us and how much joy you and the rest of the cast bring us each week.

Again, I wish you a Happy Birthday and all the success in the world!

Christine

From Nancy (clnews@inland.net )

Dear Joshua,

A very happy birthday to you. I just want to take this time to thank you for the wonderful job you and the rest of the cast and crew do on Sports Night. Please know that you have some VERY loyal fans out here. I was hooked on the very first show because of you. I loved the scene when you were being interviewed and you gave the whole speech about needing at least 20 minutes. I laughed through that whole scene. My other favorite, of course, is your speech in The Hungry and the Hunted. It was very moving. You did a wonderful job with both those scenes, but you always do a wonderful job. Keep up the great work. Trust me when I say you are very much appreciated. It is your birthday so you should be getting the gifts, but instead, you are giving all of your fans a gift.

Best wishes,

Nancy Temple

From Laurie:

Dear Joshua: I wish you the happiest of birthdays. I am huge fan of the show...especially the episode where you and Dan both end up leaving your Blofflers at home. It cracks me up just thinking about it.

From Jean (dervish1@earthlink.net)

Happy Birthday, Joshua. I am a long time fan. It's wonderful that the rest of the world is finally getting a chance to appreciate your vast talents. My favorite Sports Night escapade? You and Dan as the Tiger Twins. Who better to give such rich texture to these complex and compelling characters.

Best wishes,

Jean Wiflamoo

From Barb (scullaay@twcny.rr.com):

Dear Mr. Malina,

I'm just one of your many adoring fans wishing you a very Happy Birthday! I'm sure it's obvious that I would be someone that absolutely *loves* Sports Night... but I also have really grown to appreciate your acting and have become a huge fan of your talents. I am quite eager to see more of your work (I love the American President, and can't wait to see My Engagement Party). Your speech in The Hungry and the Hunted is one of my all-time favorite scenes from Sports Night and that is when I truly fell in love with Jeremy... it was the perfect example of what television should be... and you made it all the better. A huge thank you for all of your hard work and generosity... I can't imagine my Tuesday nights without you guys... you are the greatest! Oh... and if you are ever in the need of some stamps... give me a call, I have plenty. ;^) (haha... in my dreams!)

Happy Birthday and best wishes to you and your family in the New Year!

Dear Joshua,

Felicitations on your natal day. I have been following your career, from the early triumphs (The Machine and Neckman), to the more mature works of the past few years. I am a devoted Sports Night fanatic. My favorite episode is when you and "the guys" form a "Nude Club," much to the chagrin of Natalie, who thought she had sole viewing rights. What brilliant conceptual writing! A close second: the flashback bar mitzvah episode, in which you snort ketchup while chanting "Shochen Ad." Magnificent!

Best wishes on your simcha!
