August 24, 2000 - More new Val Encounters! Added SVKP's very own VK movie poster screensaver, which is uninstallable and is created by Screensavershot. SVKP has also won the Director's Award for Web Excellence.
June 26 - NINE more Val Encounters - once again, thank you to everyone who submitted them. Lots of new quotes have also been added, but since everyone keeps sending me more or less the same quotes, especially "I'm your huckleberry", "You're no daisy at all", and their many variations, I am disabling the submit a VK Quote form for now. I added some awards graphics and took out some rings that are now obsolete, as well as one VK website link. And finally, after one full year, a new Your Say poll. I went crazy and picked this funny one about Princes submitted by Ygirl3000@aol.com. Start voting!
January 9, 2000 - Several new Val Encounters added. A big thank you to everyone who submitted them, whether they have been included or not.
September 26 - Major updates to the Latest Films section - two new movies have been added and given new pages: Pollock and Outlaws. Mars has been changed to Red Planet and updates, mostly regarding filming locations, cast, and the premise have been made. Added some new Val Encounters, including a recent one about VK being in Australia, presumably for Red Planet.
August 24 - Finally, a new poll! Thanks to Ygirl3000 for the Led Zeppelin question. Also, updates to Quotes and Val Encounters.
July 27 - News on the filming of MARS and twenty-something new quotes added.
July 26 - Two new Val Encounters have been put up. Various updates have been made to the Multimedia section, including new icons, desktop themes, and screensavers. The site has won the CrazyDragon Cool Design award, and has joined the Celebrity Webmaster Network, as well as CelebsTo.
July 6 - Three new sections: Val Encounters (View & Submit), where fan experiences with Val Kilmer are shared; New Movies, the preview pages for Mars, Joe the King, At First Sight, and Prince of Egypt; and Downloads, which is a merger of the Multimedia and Scripts section. Sound Files now contains both WAV and MIDI files. Pictures have been added onto pages such as Downloads, Val Encounters, Biography, Quotes, and Latest Films. The problems on the biography page (namely, the bio repeats itself twice) have been fixed. Also, the problems on the main page of Coin's Cove (graphics problem) has also been fixed. The problem with the ValCards has also been fixed (and if there are any more, please tell me.) The font size of the sub-menubar on top of many pages has been increased for clarity. The pictures page have been updated again so that it looks neater... and most importantly, something that has already been mentioned: BRAND-NEW PREVIEW PAGES for MARS and JOE the KING. Check them out!! And for all these changes, the menubar and the main page have also been updated. The VK Store now also serves as a filmography - the movie titles link to the Internet Movie DataBase pages for that movie.
July 5 - Take a look at the huge additions to the pictures section, including 18 new Misc. pictures plus new pictures from The Doors, The Saint, Tombstone, Willow and more. Lots of new posters have also been added, or updated with better versions.
July 4 - A number of DVDs and additional products have been added to the VK Store. More scans of the books and videos have also been added. Check it out!
June 18 - A brand new Coin's Cove for June - 16 new pictures.
June 12 - Back in action for the summer! Look for major updates, Summer 1999. For now, there has been a major revamping of the Multimedia section, with tonnes of new additions - a huge variety of downloads including fonts, film clips, trailers, and desktop themes. Coin's Cove for June 1999 will be up this weekend as well.
Apr. 1 - Some new quotes in the generator plus the April Collection 1999 in Coin's Cove
Mar. 6 - A new entry pic for Coin's Cove is up, and 14 new quotes are added to the quote generator.
Feb. 27 - Coin's Cove by COIN is now up and running! With the first March Collection 1999 of twelve VK pictures in a way you've never seen them before - it's a set of collections you just can't miss.
Feb. 15 - Thanks loralei for the poll question this week!
Feb. 10 - Updated the Quotes section and added the biography and the contact information to the Biography section. The poll will be finally updated soon.
Jan. 30 - Added three new sections: Quotes, Cove and Biography. The quotes section is already up and running, with all your favourite VK movie quotes in a quote generator. If yours isn't there, submit it! Cove will debut soon with monthly collections of altered images of VK (You'll understand what I mean when you see them). Biography is, or course, a Bio of VK plus filmography, facts, and contact information. The status bar has been changed again to include these new pages, as has the main page. Remember to vote for the new VK poll!
Jan. 28 - The GeoPlus polls have decided not to function and also to screw up on me every time. Therefore, I am switching poll servers to freepolls.com and unfortunately, you'll have to vote again for At First Sight. The pop-up poll will be replaced by a poll further down the index page. Also, the menubar has been changed to a drop-down menu.
Jan. 15 - At First Sight opens today! After you've seen the movie, come back and tell the poll what you thought of the movie. Added the HUGE Mr. Showbiz interview link to the AFS Page, added a review and an interview of VK to the articles page, and more to come soon on this movie. Added some AFS pictures and a misc. picture.
Jan. 9 - If you look at the bottom of the of the main page, you'll see a graphic that relects our season... and I'll leave it at that until you look at it. Otherwise, I added a link to Yahoo! Movies to the At First Sight page. If you know of any AFS links I've missed, please let me know ASAP.
Jan. 3 - I saw the trailer for At First Sight today. It comes out on January 15th! (I think I'm a bit late on this, you probably know that from other VK sites by now.) Anyways, the At First Sight preview page is now up and going. The countdown is on once again... I just added the very pretty new poster (better than the last one, in my opinion) to the posters page and to the preview page. I also added a very funny, entertaining and semi-good review from Ain't It Cool News that was put up on that site a while ago.
Jan. 2, 1999 - Oops... yes, yes, yes I miscounted! Val Kilmer turned 39. Sorry about that.
Dec. 31, 1998 - The last day of the year, New Year's Eve - and a very special day for VK fans, as it is Val Kilmer's 39th birthday today - he was born on December 31, 1959 in California. Happy Birthday, Val Kilmer! As for SVKP, the scrolling ticker on the front page has been updated. GeoCities has been fiddling with their poll forms, so my results from the past few weeks are all messed up. Please vote again for the Prince of Egypt question. Happy New Year, everyone!

Dec. 17 - Val Kilmer was on this week's episode of CityTV's MovieTelevision with Jeffery Katzenberg to promote The Prince of Egypt. A summary of the movie has been added to the PoE page and links to PoE multimedia have been added as well, which are also in the multimedia section.
Dec. 17 - The Prince of Egypt comes out tomorrow! Val Kilmer was on David Letterman this week promoting the movie. A new poll relating to the movie is up. Not a lot of you voted for the last one, so VOTE!
Dec. 10 - Oooops- for last week's poll, I meant Madmartigan's sword! Never mind... Prince of Egypt press everywhere! This week's poll, which I wrote for once, poll focuses on this exciting upcoming animated release.
Dec. 2 - Today is a big update day! Many things have been updated. The poll question, as always, and (Thanks to lloralei for this week's poll question) and now a separate page for older polls. The quotes I asked people to submit will now be used for a new fave VK movie quotes page that I'm thinking about. So if you have a favourite VK quote you'd like to see on that page, submit it at the Your Say: VK Poll page form. There has been so much hype on The Prince of Egypt, and I'll just say it now: I will not be able to keep up with it. However, I've added some links on the PoE preview page that will help you get the latest news on this fantastic new movie. As well, PoE books and music are now directly available from the VK Store. The scrolling ticker on the main page has been changed- it should load faster now and I hope I can update it more often! Whew! Enjoy.

Nov. 9 - Ack!! All the votes from last week's poll question (slip on banana peel) were not recorded because I forgot to adjust thep poll settings. Please vote again. In better news, SVKP has won the Site Inspector Award!
Nov. 7 - Changed the index page and added the copyright symbols as I should have long ago. Created a Pictures 5 page, just for Misc. Pics and Movie Posters, leaving Pictures 4 for the expanding At First Sight and Prince of Egypt picture collections. Cleaned up the poll pop-up windows, for this week, anyway.
Nov. 6 - Added 8 new pictures from recently published Prince of Egypt books, thanks to DreamWorks. An Entertainment Weekly article on the new, official Prince of Egypt website will be added shortly. The links to the new Prince of Egypt sites have been added to the links and to the preview page.
Nov. 2 - Updated links page. Due to your many requests for more information on Val Kilmer, addresses and a Biography will be set up in the future. If you have any interesting info on Val that you think should be included in this section, please e-mail me to let me know!

Aug 18 - Ahh... finally. Before I didn't want to do a 'Your Say: VK poll' page but I knew I had to do it someday. Well, someday is today! Along with previous results and a brand-new form, the Poll no longer resides on the main page but on its own page. Hope you enjoy it! I spent enough time working on it. :) Anyways, last week's poll winner was of course The Lips! Take a look at the VK quotes poll, which is the first in a series of 'quote' polls. As well, the main page has been changed around because of the poll bit. That's it for now!
Aug 10 - Apparently y'all think that Tombstone is the best VK movie of all time. And so it is! A new poll is up, thanks for the idea from an anonymous surfer.
Aug 8 - SVKP is the celebrity site of the day today!
Aug 7 - Movie posters & 13 new 'Heat'pictures have been added- check them out! Vixen's Val Kilmer Page has been added to the links section, and a menubar for SVKP was added to the ValCard postoffice.
Aug 6 - SVKP will be the Celebrity Site of the Day for August 8th, 1998!
A link was added, and the main page was changed to include the graphic for celebrity site of the day. Subdirectories have been changed around.
Aug 1 - Re-arranged awards page, received the BSOB award of excellence. Also, the new poll this week lets you pick the best of the best: your favourite Val Kilmer movie out of the 5 that received the most votes in the past 3 weeks. Soon to be updated- VK Pictures.
July 29 - Two New Prince of Egypt Trailer Links, so there have been changes in the Prince of Egypt preview page and in the multimedia section.
July 28 - Sorry I'm late! The new poll is up for this week.
July 25 - The VK Store is now open! It combines VK filmography with a resource where you can purchase related books, music, and videos.
July 21 - SVKP has won another award. As for updates, a variety of different things were added to the Multimedia section. Enjoy! ;)
July 21 - SVKP's collection of At First Sight images is now counting 15, thanks to the studio website. Also, the release dates, counter, links, pictures etc. has been updated on the 2 movie preview pages. Added also is a link to a brand new VK page on Geocities with a quiz you don't want to miss. The screensaver page has now become the multimedia page: soon to come is a collection of trailers, clips, screensavers, desktop themes, wallpaper, etc. from all over the web. Links to The Saint trailers and screensaver and to the Prince of Egypt trailer is already there. The new poll is up: In a 4-week series, the polls will ask for votes on most of the major VK movies and then will finally determine your all-time favourite VK movie in Your Say.
July 18 - Many new pictures have been added. They include: two new pictures in the misc. section, pictures from The Doors, The Man Who Broke 1,000 Chains and Thunderheart. The Prince of Egypt page has also been updated. Enjoy!
July 14 - SVKP has won the Starsaber's award of excellence.
July 13 - Results from last week's poll are in! Matt Damon won by one vote over Matt Damon as the actor most likely to be regarded as a next Val Kilmer (and I do not mean that in a negative way to either actors). July 12 - SVKP Awards & Rings page is now extended to 3- the first one for just awards, and the next two split up among the rings. SVKP also received the Stines Award. A new poll coming up tomorrow, and possibly a 'Your Say' archive sometime in the near future.
July 11 - Added some new pictures for Top Secret, Kill Me Again and The Real McCoy. SVKP received the Bronze Leaf Award and the A+ Web Design Award.

June 24 - The ValCards Virtual PostOffice @SVKP is now in service! After months of waiting, this feature will now allow VK fans to send Virtual Postcards to their friends with photos & MIDIs of Val from this site! Enjoy!
June 23 - The new sections ValCards, SVKP Updates (this page replaces the SVKP Gateway as the updates page), ScreenSavers, Pictures & Posters and VK Book List are added. The Former SVKP is now closed, and this new reincarnation will be the home of futher updates this summer including the first of the screensavers, book listings, weekly polls, .wav sound files, fonts and more links. So stay tuned!
June 23 - Scripts & Midis, .WAV Files and everything in the Articles Section has been renovated for the new format.
June 22 - Reloaded the new SVKP mainpage and menubar and made some changes to the Awards & Rings page. Tales from Willow and links are also available. I added a Q&A I found in my TV guide on the main page in the links section.
June 20 - Put up new Awards & Rings page on SVKP Renovations. Get those Book submissions coming! Note: Thank you very much to everyone who has submitted books so far!
June 18 - I have added the new mainpage to the SVKP Renovations, which is now a link. However, what you see after you select that link is all there is for now.
