synopsis
(Shakespeare) King Henry V goes to war against France and leads a ragged army to defeat the French in a crucial battle.
update
Available on video. This was Kenneth Branagh's famous directorial debut, introducing the world to his bombastic style of directing as well as his then-bride, Emma Thompson. Christian played Falstaff's boy, the young flag bearer who accompanies the English army to France. Christian met Prince Charles when he was visiting the set. Little known fact: Christian almost drowned in the mud in the end sequence because he was strapped to Kenneth Branagh. Superb film for Shakespeare, the movie is a tear-jerker for Baleheads. Nuff said.
