synopsis
(Detective thriller) Based on a book by thriller author, John LeCarre, A MURDER OF QUALITY is set in a creepy English boys school where a teacher's wife has been murdered. LeCarre's favourite detective, George Smiley, is sent to investigate. Christian plays a vulnerable student who may or may not be involved with the murder.

Available on video but hard to find. Christian counts his performance in MOQ as one of his best. From an audience point of view, I'm surprised given how small if crucial a part he plays in this British telefilm. Interesting but given Christian's short screen time, a bit dull. Classy cast includes Denholm Elliot and Glenda Jackson.
