                                [Earth, 1996]  
      
      "Hey guys!" Rocky smiled as he joined his friends at a table at the Youth
Center.
      "Hey, man.  How was the Tournament?" asked Tommy.
      "Well, I didn't win but I met the hottest girl and..."
      "Rocky.  We don't wanna know!" added Adam.  They all laughed except
Tommy.
      "Hey Tommy.  What's wrong." Kat said.  She had noticed that he seemed
depressed as she stared at him.
      "Ah, well I got a note from Kimberly." he said.  His eyes never left his
drink.  It had been over a year since the last note had come.  
      "What does it say." asked Jason even though he was distracted by Emily.
      "It says she's coming for a visit," he hesitated, "With her new boyfriend,
Robert." He looked over the expressions of his friends.  They all seemed pretty
shocked.  He decided he should look happy.  'If I don't who will?'.
      "When is she coming?" asked Kat.
      "Friday." 'I got two days to prepare myself.'
      "Friday." repeated Kat in a little shock.
      "Ya.  I, um, think that we should have a party for her.  Do you guys
agree.  I'll arrange is at my house.  My Aunt and Uncle are out."
      "If that's what you want Tommy that would be great." Jason said, "It'll be
great seeing her again after all this time."
      "Ya.  I can finally meet her!" added Tanya with a smile.
      "Well, ah, guys.  I'm gonna go home see ya." he got up and left.  His
walked showed that he was not happy.
      "Guys, I think this is not a good idea." said Adam.
      "As much as Tommy wants to admit it he's not over her." Kat lowered her
eyes.
      "I can't believe they ever broke up.  They never showed it in public but
they were really close, if you know what I mean." Jason said.
      "I think these are gonna be a hard two days for him.  Lets hope he can
deal with it." Rocky said.  He had so much trouble being serious but this was
big news.
      "He's strong.  He can do it.  At least I hope." said Tanya.
