Tommy awoke at the smell of fire.  Everything seemed normal in his room. 
Kim was sleeping soundly and there was no commotion outside.  'I'm sure I smell
fire and it's not from the campfire.'  Tommy shoke his head. 'I must be
imagining.' Then, he went back to bed.

      "Ahh." screeched Rita.  "Sir Firealot has found the Rangers with those
colonists!  Who knew there would be anyone living there!"
      "That is of no importance, my dear." He put his arm around his wife.  "I
just want those do-gooders gone, forever." He laughed.
      "With no powers and Sir Firealot, I'm sure that will be no problem, my
wicked husband." They both laughed until they hurt.

      The Rangers all teleported to the Command Center.  Robert had gone back
to Florida because he had to but they promised if they were found the guys
would phone him.  He was very worried for Kim.
      "Zordon.  Did you find them?" asked Tanya.
      "NO, RANGERS.  I AM AFRAID NOT." he lowered his eyes to Alpha.
      "We have scanned from B.C. until now.  We know they are not in the past,
oh, ay yi yi!  Where could they be."
      "Well," Rocky spoke up, "If they're not in the past or the present then
they are in the future."
      "No kidding, Rocko!" Jason lightly smacked the back of his head.
      "THAT IS THE PROBLEM.  THEY ARE IN THE FUTURE.  OUR SEARCH WILL
HAVE TO BE SLOWED OR ELSE WE MAY DRAIN ALL THE POWERS FROM THE ZEO
CRYSTAL." Zordon informed them.
      "Why would that be?" asked Kat.
      "Well, Rangers," the robot answered, "Our technology is not from the
future so it has trouble searching the future."
      "I think we have too." said Adam.
      "For Tommy and Kim's sake.  Just take it slow and be careful." added
Jason.
      "THAT IS WHAT I EXPECTED THE HEAR.  ALPHA, PROCEED WITH THE SEARCH
BUT BE CAREFUL."
      "Right, Zordon!  Oh, ay yi yi!"

******************************************************************************
      
      "Wake up!" True and Uly shouted in unison as they came bouncing into the
teens room.  They felt very honoured that they could wake up the guests.  True
went to Kimberly and Uly went to work on Tommy.
      "Hey!  Wake up!" True shoke Kim gently.  Kimberly opened her eyes and
looked around.  She didn't know where she was.  Then it all came back to her
and she smiled at the young girl.
      "Good morning, True." she yawned, "That was the best nights sleep I've
had in a long time."
      "Well, breakfast is almost ready.  I'll be the first to worn you.  The
breakfast bars are the grosses of all the bar meals!"
      "Ewww." Kim made a disqusted face.  "Guess you don't have any Shreddies
eh?" True looked confused.  "Just earth breakfast." the girl smiled, "Oh, is
Tommy up?" True pointed to Uly who was shaking the teen.
      "Uly's working on it."
      "Ya, well.  Good luck!  Nothin can wake him up unless he's ready."
Kimberly's eyes slanted, "Well almost nothing!" she whispered something in True's
ear and the girl ran out of the room.  
      Kim stood up in her Pink PJ's and walked over to Tommy and Uly.  "Good
try, Uly but this guy sleeps like a rock!"
      He looked up at the girl, "He won't wake up!" she patted his shoulder.  
      "Oh, don't worry about that, Uly.  True's getting something that'll work
real well." Kim smiled knowingly.
      "What's that?" asked Uly.
      "Oh you'll see." as she said that True came running in with a small glass
of water.  "Here we go." she took the small glass from True.  "Now, kids.  I
don't suggest that you try this on anyone.  Oh, and I warn you.  He may be
kinda grumpy!"
      Kim readied the glass over Tommys face.  She remembered all the times she
had had to do this to wake him up before her mom woke up.  'Well, it's the only
way!' she smiled and tipped the water onto Tommy's face.
      Tommy's eyes flew open and he looked at the three faces looking at him. 
He stared at Kim.  "You!" he reached up and grabbed her and sat her on the
bed.  "Kids," he couldn't remember their names, "Stand back." they stood back.
      "No Tommy please don't!  This is good silk!" she pleaded.
      "Sorry, Kimberly it has to be done!"
      He shoke his hair that was full of water all over Kim.  "No...ewwwww." The
kids laughed at the sight of Tommy.  It reminded True of what Yale had shown
her of the extinct breed the dog.
      Tommy finished his shake out and Kim sat there covered in water.  Tommy
looekd like the breed of dog known as the Puli.  "Do you feel better know?"
asked Kimberly
      "Much!"
      She got up and walked away.  "I gotta get changed so I'd ask you all to
leave please." she smiled at the kids and they walked out. "Tommy, avert your
eyes."
      "Whatever." he smiled and closed his eyes to go back to sleep.

      After both Kim and Tommy were dressed they stepped outside.  It was even
colder today then it had been the day before.  They walked towards the group
sitting around the fire.  Devon handed them each a bar.  They sat down next to
Danziger and True.
      "Oh, man.  I need cream cheese in the morning to really start moving!"
Tommy complained.
      "Well, Tommy.  Sorry but this is a good as it gets." Danziger informed him.
      Kimberly opened her bar and stiffed it.  "Ewww..."
      "Told ya." smiled True.
      Tommy and Kimberly both ate their bars reluctantly.  What choice did they
have?  It didn't have much of a taste but the texture was awful.  Kimberly kept
making funny faces as she chewed.
      "Where's Bess?" she asked Danziger.
      "My guess would be because we aren't moving she and Morgan are sleeping
in." Danziger grunted.  Kimberly could tell he didn't think to highly of Morgan.
      "Um, what exaclty does one do on a day where you don't move?" asked
Tommy.
      "Me, I'm a mechanic.  I have to fix the vehicles.  You know, make sure
they're working." Danziger said softly.
      "Really?" asked Tommy, "I love fixing cars.  Do you think I could help
you?" asked Tommy.
      "You fix cars?  That must have been something.  When I was born cars had
been replaced with hovercrafts and stuff like that.  It must have been real
interesting to have them." Danziger smiled.  'I think I'm going to like this kids'
he thought to himself.
      "Ugg, I always had so much trouble with my car!  It kept breaking down. 
That's where Tommy came in handy.  He always fixed it."
      "I find them cool." added Tommy.
      "Ya, help would be good.  It'll be nice to give True a break." she smiled
thinking it would give her more time in VR.  As much as she liked to help her
dad she would like to play more.
      "What'll I do?" Kim asked.
      "I don't know.  You'll have to asked Devon.  She's the "leader" of us." He
laughed.
      "All righty." Kimberly smiled.
