      Alonzo came back to camp hours later.  The Terrians had shown him
pictures from the past and the guest.  He figured they could tell he was not to
trusting of the guests.  He liked Kimberly and worried that he may have
frightened her with the experience with Julia.  Actually he thought she was very
beautuful.  He wasn't sure about the man.  Something about him seemed,
mysterious, like he didn't belong.   He couldn't figure out why he felt that way,
      He believed everything now.
      "Devon." he tapped the leader on the shoulder.
      "We were about to send out a search party for you!  Where were you!"
      "I was having a close encounter of the...whatever." he grinned, "They,
Tommy and Kim, are what they say.  The Terrians gave me a nice little picture
show."
      She looked confused, "Okay.  Did they say anything else?"
      "The monster has to be destroyed at all costs.  That's what they said.  I'm
not sure what the "all costs" would mean, but I don't think it's good.

      Tommy thrashed in his sleep.  Julia and Kimberly tried to hold him still. 
It was hard.  He was a big guy.
      *Kimberly!* he screamed in his sleep.  They figured it was a nightmare.
      "I'm here Tommy.  I'm okay." she whispered softly.
      *Look out!  It's gonna get you!  Noooooo!  Kimberly!  I can't let anything
happen to you!!!* he screamed still asleep.
      "I'm going to give him a sedative." Julia told the girl.  Kimberly knew that
was best.  
      Right before he was out he whispered.
      *Kimberly, I love you.*
      Then he was out and calm.  Kimberly didn't move.

      "We kick butt!  We kick butt!" Rita and Zedd danced around the moon.

      Kat sat in the Juice Bar alone.  Everyone had asked her where Tommy was.
The Rangers made up the lie that he was at a tournament.  No one knew that
Kimberly was missing.
      Kat was feeling guilty.  She had so wanted to be with Tommy.  When Kim
had broken it off she knew it would just be a matter of time before he was in
her arms.  Now, she was more concerned over the fact that Tommy and Kim were
together than the fact they were on another planet and time!  This made her feel
very guilty and she could not stand to look the other Rangers in the eye.

      "Zordon.  I think I may have a clue."
      "GOOD ALPHA!  PLEASE TELL."
      "The beam was to the future.  I can't pin-point when yet.  There was a
weird energy charge coming from Aquitar and Edinode.  I believe that they are
in that galaxy.
      "WORK ON THAT ALPHA.  I WILL INFORM THE OTHERS."          
      "Zordon.  What happens if someone attacks.  The Rangers are not at full
strength."
      "WE CAN ONLY HOPE THAT THAT WON'T HAPPEN."

      Kimberly still sat with Tommy.  She rubbed his hand and hummed the song
that she and Zack had wrote for him a long time ago.  Other people had come by
to visit.  Uly and True gave their sympathy.  Bess came again to comfort her
with Morgan who just stood there.  Danziger had grunted something.  Devon had
been as calm as always.  Alonzo told Kimberly about the dream.  Julia had just
kept silent but every so often she would check on Tommy. 
      What Kimberly thought was really cool was Yale.  He had comforted her
best.  For some reason he reminded her of a kindly grandfather.  She ignored
the fact that he was only part human.
      Kimberly continued to hum.  Tears were starting in her eyes.  She tried
to ignore what he had said earlier.  It couldn't still be true.  She knew that he
might still "love" her in a certain way, the way she loved him but no more.  Who
was she kidding.  Being here with Tommy made all her love continue to grow. 
Kimberly decided that she would tell him that.  She might not have another
chance!
      Tommy began to make noises again.  They were of calm sound and he
moved very lightly.  Kimberly stood up coaxed him back to her.  His eyes
fluttered open but they could not focus.  Kimberly wiped away her tears.  His
eyes finally settled on her.  He smiled and so did she.
      His voice was weak, "I hurt like hell!" he murmured.  Kimberly couldn't
help but giggle.
      "You don't look much better." her eyes gazed down to his stomach.
      He followed where her eyes went and he grimaced.
      "Ewww..." he muttered, "I can't really remember what happened." he ran
his hands through his sweaty hair.
      "Well, you saved me...again." she smiled, "The monster shot at me and you
saved me." her eyes lowered, "Thank you."
      "I'd do anything for you...I guess." his face twisted in pain.
      Kimberly ran her hand through his hair.  She leaned down slowly and gave
him a soft, sweet kiss on the lips.  He didn't kiss her back but he didn't pull
away.  'What the heck?' he asked himself.  'Why is she doing this to me? 
Taunting me.  Doesn't she know that I want her?'
      She stood back up.  Tommy could see the tears that were starting in her
eyes.  "What was that for?"  he asked her.  He tried not to seem happy by it
even though it felt really nice.
      "Ahhhh..." she wanted to say it.  She had to say it. She couldn't, "I was
worried about you."

      Julia heard talking so she went back into her tent.
      "Ahhh...the patient is awake." she smiled.
      "Yes doctor." Tommy grinned back.
      "How do you feel?" she ran her glove over him.
      "How good could I feel?  I looked like I've just been barbecued."
      Julia always liked a patient with a sense of humor.
