Cristina, the eldest of five children, was born in Cleveland, Ohio. At 14 years old, her family moved to Los Angeles.

After her mother took her to a modeling agency, Nina Blanchard, at 17, she was under contract with 20th Century Fox and completed tow films- “The Impossible Years” with David Niven and “J.W. Coop” with Cliff Robertson.

In 1970, Cristina did her first cover for COSMO, as well as a layout for VOGUE. She continued with a layout in the famed SPORTS ILLUSTRATED swimsuit issue and appeared in numerous television shows, such as “The Love Boat” and “Vegas.

Cristina published a fashion and beauty secrets book, “Cristina Ferrare Style” in 1984. That same year, she began co-hosting her first talk show in southern California- “AMLA” with Steve Edwards. She co-hosted for five years.

Following “AMLA”, she joined the “Home Show” on ABC along with John Davidson on “Incredible Sunday.”

For the past few years, she has been a regular guest host of “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee.”

Cristina is married to entertainment executive, Tony Thomopulos. They have two children, Alexandra and Ariannna. Cristina also has two children from a previous marriage, Kathryn and Zachary.

Cristina is known to her friends as the perfect hostess. At “Home and Family”, she is looking forward to entertaining you everyday in your home.

Out in bookstores, Cristina has a new cookbook filled with low-fat recipes based on traditional recipes handed down in her family.
